There are a few upcoming changes to stations owned by the View TV Group. Details are a little sketchy at this time, so this may change.
Vintage Music Radio which had taken over the FM frequencies of Rathergood Radio’s following Rathergood’s move to London, is also to move to London. This station will launch on DAB, although the multiplex is yet to be confirmed. This could be national on the D1 commercial multiplex, although this would require the use of DAB+ at a low bit rate.
Durham FM is to launch in the Durham area. This appears to be a few weeks away yet, and the frequencies are yet to be confirmed. As I am outside the coverage area, I’m unsure what, if anything, is actually being broadcast on the former Star Radio North East frequencies of 102.6, 102.8, 103.2, and 106.8 FM.
