Here are a couple of news stories to report on:
Black Cat Cambridge and Resonance Extra have joined the Cambridge Trial multiplex. Both are using DAB+ (not compatible will all DAB radios), at a bit rate of 48 kbps.
Bliss Radio has launched on DAB in North East Wales and West Cheshire. The station is aimed at Crosby and Waterloo, but also covers the wider area. The station is broadcasting at 64 kbps in mono, in the original DAB format.
Skylab Radio has joined the Trial Portsmouth DAB multiplex, broadcasting using DAB+ at 32kbps. Weather 24/7 radio has dropped its bit rate to 32 kbps (still using DAB+). Both services will only work on newer DAB+ compatible radios.
