Back in March, Blackburn&#8217;s 102.2 had launched by the 14th. Riviera Radio, based in Torbay has launched on 107.9 FM. Leicester station Radio 2 Funky has also launched, this time on 95.0 FM. Bristol based SWU FM are testing ahead of launch on 103.7 FM.<\/p>\n<p>Some community and commercial stations have seen coverage improvements. Northern Ireland regional station Downtown Radio has a new transmitter for Newtonabbey, which broadcasts on 103.4 FM. Community station Amber Sound now also broadcasts to Belber on 98.4 FM. Similarly named, Walsall station Ambur Radio has moved to a new frequency of 99.4 FM (presumably to allow for a power output increase).<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, Betar Bangla&#8217;s MW (AM) transmitter for East London had now closed.
