Over in Ireland, two new station have joined the EireDAB Cork DAB multiplex, taking the total number of stations up to four.
The first is a pop up station called Christmas FM. This is broadcasting in original format DAB in joint stereo, at a bit rate of 128 kbps.
The second station is the local community station This Is Juice, which is also broadcasting in joint stereo, but at a higher bit radio of 192 kbps.
Both these station join the existing services Radio Maria and UCB Ireland. The EirDAB Cork multiplex is a small scale trial multiplex, that launched in August 2018 for a period of 12 months.
