BBC Newcastle will ceased taking the networked evening show from today, and re-commence local programming from 7pm to 10pm.
Nick Roberts will present from 7pm to 8pm, which will be following by a 2 hour slot dedicated to a different subject each evening.
On Monday’s, Sue Company will be host conversation and stories from around the North East, and will be presented by Sue Sweeney.
Tuesday’s will be presented by Mel Crawford, and will feature stories from North East community radio stations.
On Wednesday, Nick Roberts will continue through to 10pm, with a show dedicated to arts and culture. Thursday is the turn of Total Sport Extra, which will compliment the existing Total Sport phone-in.
Lastly, Friday’s show will be hosted by Steffen Peddie, and is called It’s Grin Up North. This will feature gags, sketches, interviews and music, and is all about comedy.
