If you follow Scott’s Radio Site on Facebook and twitter, you may be aware of the dispute that has arisen with the website Radio Today UK. This stems from Radio Today (main UK twitter account) blocking the accounts of Scott’s Radio Site and its author.
I would like to make it clear that I can see no reason for Radio Today to take this action. I have on twitter criticised Radio Today for the length of time it took for them to publish their article on Absolute radio’s service cuts, but I don’t not believe that any of my comments have been offensive in any way.
I would like to confirm that I have no issue with Radio Today UK, and whilst it does occasionally have faults, it is an accurate source of information, and a website I have read myself for several years. There is a link to the website on the Useful Links page of this website, and this will remain despite this dispute
I have contacted the managing editor of Radio Today, and have yet to receive a response. I am also reviewing this website’s use of social media.
